What inspired you to pursue a career in the beauty industry?
I love the smell of the products and everything about beauty, even natural beauty. I remember seeing all the beautiful women at my aunty Stephanie’s salon when I was younger, and in the moment, I just knew this was something I had and wanted to be doing.
Can you share a memorable moment from your early days in the industry?
I remember I was at the salon, and my great Grandma and Grandma came to the salon and brought me food. It was a total surprise, I got so overwhelmed and emotional. I was truly excited and happy that they both thought to do this for me.
How do you define your brand within the beauty space?
I define my brand as being very Grown and Elegant. My work gives a rich wife with a credit score of 850. My brand is very unique and different.
What does being featured in the Hype Hair Magazine x Bronner Bros collaboration mean to you?
Being a part of the Hype Hair/Bronner Bros. collab means a lot to me. For me, this moment is like some history-type stuff. Bronner Bros. has been around since my childhood, so I am very honored. It feels surreal.
Where do you see yourself in your career five years from now?
Five years from now, I see myself at home with my husband and children, making money in my sleep, probably with some behind-the-scenes deals. But Lord willing, I’ll be a Mother and wife by then.
Who are some of your biggest influences in the beauty industry?
Some of my biggest influences are everybody doing their thing right now. I love and salute everyone. I’m a fan of everyone’s work and love seeing it.
What areas of expertise set you apart from other professionals in your field?

How vital are diversity and inclusivity in the beauty industry, and how do you contribute to it?
What style makes me different? My work consists of a lot of 90’s extensive blowout looks, with a lot of bed and Sexy hair—It gives “I am very much a wealthy housewife”.
Can you share some advice for aspiring beauty professionals looking to make their mark?
Honestly, I don’t know how I contribute to it and it is vital, but I do my own thing. I’m a big believer in the idea that “A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men.” So that’s what I live by.
What role does innovation play in your approach to beauty and haircare?
Innovation plays a role for sure, but that’s why I say, KEEP God in your life because when the ideas get a bit dull, he will start leading you to new things and ideas that will set you apart. Remember it will always do good because anything God stamps it is Legit
How do you balance staying true to your style while keeping up with industry trends?
I balance staying true to my style by staying true to myself. I don’t try to be like anyone else. I stay in my lane and do my own thing.
What challenges have you faced in your career, and how have they shaped your journey?
I have faced a lot of challenges in my career. Before I gave my life to Christ, my attitude was terrible, my mouth was foul, and I wasn’t the best at timing out my clients, I was so rude, but thank God I found him just in time. He gave me a second chance, and I’m entirely grateful. That’s why I must make sure God is with me everywhere I go. God is real! Trust me.
What upcoming projects or collaborations can your fans and readers look forward to?
Well, right now, I’m taking a lot of classes, so you guys can look out for that. I don’t know where God is about to take me; I’m just in the backseat with my seatbelt on.
What’s your favorite beauty hack or product you can’t live without?
The beauty product I can’t live without is the Pump It Up Spritz. I can’t do anything without it. I love it!
How do you stay motivated and inspired in a constantly evolving industry like beauty?
I stay motivated by not letting myself burn out. I continue to do things that bring me joy. I always ask God what I should do because he knows me best. Anything out of his will creates chaos, so it’s easy for me to stay motivated when I’m on the right path.
